The Cause Collaborative (formerly Delaney Marketing & Event Services) was founded in 2014. Focusing on marketing and building awareness, The Cause Collaborative develops innovative strategies and creative brand solutions, specializing in working with start-ups and non-profit organizations with diverse needs and budget restrictions. The team brings local expertise in advocacy marketing to provide services to support a particular cause, point of view, or a matter of public importance or interest. 

The team at The Cause Collaborative has a reputation of making the 'impossible' happen and stretching a budget by bringing together teams to achieve once deemed insurmountable goals. Internally, the team is dedicated, passionate, and driven to help community causes, and each staff member brings a vast array of experience providing messaging and creative to clients. The firm also collaborates regularly with local industry experts and other agencies in areas such as marketing research, web development, and production services.

 

Becca has always been known for her passion and energy. Specializing in non-profit marketing, Becca leads the team who partner with non-profits and cause-based for-profits who have a story to tell, typically around a community issue or cause. Before founding The Cause Collaborative, she worked as Director of Marketing & Communications for both a local corporation and a non-profit after working in local agencies as Director of Client Services. She holds a Masters from RIT in Communication and Media Technology, and a Bachelors from St. John Fisher College in Communication and Journalism. Becca is someone who purposely turns anything she can into an art project. Becca’s greatest hobby is teaching - she’s an adjunct at both St. John Fisher & Rochester Institute of Technology.

Ashley specializes in illustration and branding & identity. Ashley works to get to know the stories of our clients and develops a strategy for visual communications. Given her psychology background, she blends brilliant creative and her understanding of consumer behaviors to create compelling and impactful marketing efforts. She graduated from Nazareth College with a degree in Visual Communication Design and a minor in Psychology. Ashley is a night owl with a passion for typography, chocolate, event planning and Grey’s Anatomy. She received a Gold ADDY and the Student Scholarship Award from the Rochester Advertising Federation for The Owl Co. branding and package design. When she’s not busy designing, you can find her crafting DIY projects, baking, or playing with her fur babies.

Ashley Neal
Art Director

Luke is currently a junior at St. John Fisher College, where he will graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. Luke now joins The Cause Collaborative team on a part time basis as our Marketing & Communications Assistant. In his role, Luke will be utilizing his knowledge of marketing and outreach, as he keeps the community informed about the importance of all the causes we work with. Luke is also a member of the St. John Fisher College Cross Country and Track & Field teams.

Lauren has spent her career in content development, events, and project management. As Content Marketing Manager, Lauren is responsible for managing content marketing strategies to meet the diverse needs of the integrated marketing plans for our clients. She also oversees customer and vendor relations to ensure project deadlines and expectations are met. Lauren holds a Bachelors degree in Communications/Journalism from St. John Fisher College and brings experience from her previous role as the Events and Promotions Manager at RIT and prior to that from her position as Special Projects Manager at the University of Rochester. When she's not in the office, you'll find her catching up on the latest season of Game of Thrones.

Content Marketing & Project Manager

Meg brings an expertise in social media and event management. In her role, Meg leads all digital content solutions and is responsible for the social media and digital presence of our clients. Meg graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in Hospitality and Business Management and minors in Advertising and Public Relations. Before joining The Cause Collaborative team, Meg was the PR and Marketing Manager for the New York Wine and Culinary Center. She enjoys visiting local Rochester restaurants in her off time and considers herself quite the “foodie".

Digital Communications & Events Manager

Claire is currently a Senior at St. John Fisher College where she will graduate with a degree in Media Management. Claire now joins The Cause Collaborative on a part time basis as our Marketing and Communications Assistant. In her role, Claire will be communicating all front-end communications, assist in the scheduling and execution of company related events, help maintain databases, gather, review, analyze and lead research material relevant to needs. In her spare time, Claire enjoys playing with her dogs.
