Open Door Mission




Open Door Mission has a longstanding positive reputation in the community for providing the needs of homeless men, women and children by restoring hope and changing lives. We were excited to be brought in as the marketing partner. Open Door Mission needed a team that could help provide vision, strategy, and implementation for communications around the fact that they rebranding and that they were breaking ground on a new facility to support women and children programming, and also around their first Gala event.


The Cause Collaborative launched the 2017-2018 Dove Campaign along with strategy for a charity pin-up campaign with community partners and local retailers to help fundraise for the capital campaign.

The Cause Collaborative also redesigned their website to work with the Dove Campaign and provide donors with a clear reason to give.

We branded their vision for funding the women and children's  - from video concepting, to campaigns, to fundraising appeals and newsletters, and event vision assistance. 


The Open Door Mission first gala "Hope Takes Flight" was held on November 3, 2017 and proved to be a successful and worthy event for the cause. The story of the Dove Campaign was clearly executed through event imagery, design and speaker talking points. This event served as a pivotal start point to raising funds for a new women and children's transitional home and provided Open Door Mission with a new segment of donors.
